Sycamore Singing Tree

Here are pictures from the creation of the Sycamore Singing Tree of Possibilities, made in partnership with the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Dawn Weikum’s art classes at A.P. Giannini Middle School in April, 2011, San Francisco, California.  The sycamore tree was chosen in honor of Astronaut Edgar Mitchell’s Apollo 14 Mission to the Moon where sycamore and redwood seedling were taken to outer space, and then planted around the country.  They are now  40 years old and are called “Moon Trees.”
